Toronto To Fredericton Bus Direct

Good week to all creative

Pending a spring that none of it to be seen (at least here in the north ....), I spent a pleasant weekend of events. Starting with Friday 'afternoon, when here in Verbania, in the beautiful Villa Giulia, and' opened the exhibition "Change Disk". Many works on display, both artists of students. A fine show, creativity 'overflowing, really amazing what you can' do with an old vinyl .... Go see it if you have time, and 'open until next Sunday (info here).
ArterEgo and Saturday' was closed 'cause I jumped all'HobbyShow Milan. Those who know him know that it is not 'that we can really talk about .... but so be unmissable', to browse and buy some material, is always welcome.
I took advantage for a ride in the adjacent Cartoomics, just long enough to realize how there is a colorful and fanciful world that revolves around publishing (and other) comics. Here is another example of how young people become involved and know not just passive visitors. Their energy, their way of interpreting the characters and atmosphere with accurate creativity 'have left me stunned and amazed.
Finally, Sunday visit to the first edition of Magic Craftsmanship, which and 'took place in Locarno (Switzerland), after a demonstration in two steps from here! Not many stand (being just an event newborn), but well-organized and agile in a way sufficiently illuminated. Quite varied, with plenty of interesting things. A great opportunity for new contacts with artisans, in fact. And in more ', a most welcome encounter: Eleanor of Caracol, whose views necklaces jaw-dropping live .... really beautiful! Let's stay in touch, dear Eleanor ....

And after this long account, the week of ArterEgo opens with something new on the shelves: the hand-painted boxes. A return arabesque (decorative effect that I particularly like) and the opportunity to take up brushes and plunge into a period black & white, which is giving birth to several news' (coming soon!)
